    Then it is true what they say aboot some of the French restaurants in Quebec. YIKES!


    A legit reason for some mild swerving someplace where there is little or no LEOs lurking might be to wear some of the parting compound away from new rubber.

    New rubber especially if overinflated can throw ya down until that compound is worn away. The rule of thumb is aboot 100 miles of taking it easy.

    Got this from a tire guy I used to know. Take a sheet of 220 grit sandpaper get the wheel off the deck and sand off the compound.

    Any or all of the above is not recommended for either the Seattle or Portland metro commute hours.
