    GOOD!

    I love the word "progressive"

Progress to what? Total government control?

Oh please take over and live my life for me progressive masters! You know all and see all! Please protect me from myself and I will agree to the socialist nanny state, but please let me sue if anything goes wrong.

I think you nailed the liberal ideology pretty good. But you forgot that they will tax you to death for the trouble of running your life.

The city counsel woman for my area recently got called back to her home planet and left her seat open. I am seriously thinking about running for it. I plan to shake the tree of freedom a little like letting the chief sign off on NFA toys. Also remove the so-called assault weapons ban in Denver. Since it isn't inforced and grossly unconstitutional. That would be top of my personal agenda but I would have to listen to the people to find things that need fixin. Code enforcement would need some more accountability for sure. They run around like little secret police but since they are only enforcing code nobody seems to notice that they are out of control.

I'm not saying that god wants me dead but that is not the first time I had to draw down on a threat to my safty. When I was 16 or 17 I got into a fight with my gf and since she was a slut and sleeping around her other boyfriends didn't like that and wanted to teach me a lesson. They showed up at my house the day after the fight pretending to be police. I know 2 things about cops that lead me to believe that they were lieing. 1 Cops wear uniforms and 2 they don't smell like feces. I told them to fuck off and slammed the door in their faces and took off to my dads room. They kicked the door open and followed. I managed to get my dad's AR-15 from the case and hold them at gun point until the real cops could come. Sure enough they were drug addicts with arrest records for assault. And they said that they weren't there to hurt me and that I drew down on them unprovoked. But they couldn't explain why they were face down on the floor of my dads room (with dirty underwear on their heads, I have matured since then) with a foot print on the broken door. They said that they were lucky to be alive. Again the gun was unloaded but when my dad came home an hour after the cops left (when he would have found me beaten or dead) he swore that I he wouldn't make the same mistake again and made a stash box that looks like a coat rack with a revolver in it. I may push the envelope sometimes maybe its for fun but I swear if they ever find me dead off a highway somewhere they will find me on top a pile of brass. You never know when or where you will have to fight to save your life so I just plan for worse and hope for the best. And I have come out ahead twice now.

Now if I can just find the right helmet I can avoid being victum to a real danger in life... stupid drivers.

A Maadi is an AK isn't it? IIRC it is an Ejyption gun isn't it? Like the ones used in Red Dawn. I like them enough if they are. I personally want a galil. A ak version is .308 should be a lot of fun.

    I did forget taxes didn't I?

Well the Department of Redundency Department didn't! They need more funds for...nothing.

Hmm, interesting stories. I noticed CO seemed to have bit of an edge to it when I was out their.

    Be careful dlman!

I think that you should get a piece that you would carry with you always. Share knowlege with your kids when they are old enough. (that alone will get progressives running for cover) And you will never have to worry.

Yes, their the Ethiopian version. From what I know Ethiopia bought original Russian tools to make AK's exactly like the Soviets used too. Or I should say, they are the closest thing to getting an actual Russian AK.

I have not scene Red Dawn in some time, I just remember Jennifer Gray on an RPK blazing at the invaders! I can see the AK's in my head, but I would have to watch the film again to determine what type of AK they had.

Galil and Valmet's are nice, but the prices on those have sky rocketed too.

They didn't remember at the department of redundancy department didn't they. I repeat.

Currently ones personal safty still is in ones own hands. We havn't shifted the responsibility to the cops who don't want it anyway. It makes me scared to go outside every time something like this happens and it usually goes away as soon as I deal with it. But it does pass. The trouble we have here is everywhere you the difference is we can defend ourselves. The democritters want to take it away and there is something very wrong with that whole idea. I don't want CO to turn CA. So practice, practice and share.

Don't forget Swayze had a RPK strapped to his back too.

That is a great movie. I have it on 2 VHS and DVD.

I found a Galil at the Fun Show the last time I went and it was in love with it but the price was close to $2000. Not the most expensive preban but up there.

Can you see if you buddy wants to part with one? Its cool if you don't I can look elsewhere. I have gotten by this long with a ready supply of 30 rd mags I guess I can wait longer. They are going at prices about 100 - 150. I am kicking myself for not buying one at the gunshow for 120. I walked because I only wanted to spend 100. I thought he would change his mind.

Exactly, $2000 grand. I just look at how many AK's that would buy 4-5 anyway.

Well I tried that trick on my buddy already and it was a no then LOL!

Yes but some friends are will fall for my jedi mind tricks and make a little money in the transaction. You know who really doesn't mind selling AK stuff? AR owners and 3rd world country's. I guess we are the few that know what we got and want to be stingy with it.

I hear that they want to start a new and improved AWB. Have you sent a letter opposeing it yet?

Ha-HA-Ha, your Jedi mind tricks do not work on me boy!

Like I said, I'll keep an eye out for you on some deals and ask around of course.

Too bad you don't live closer to Kentucky. The Knob Creek gun show and machine gun shoot can really bring out some deals.

Anyway, let me poke around and I'll get back to ya!

I loved Red Dawn. I think I watched it again last year. The cool thing about having kids is I get to watch movies like that with them and it's almost as good as seeing it the first time. I swear I have been out of the USAF for over 10 years, and I bet I could still take an M16 apart blindfolded, and probably pretty damn fast, too. I never shot worth a shit, though. Now give my my M60 and I could mess some shit up. That or the M203. ;)

The M203 is the SAW correct? What is your opinion on it?

I think only a few made it to the public before the 86 ban, and I have heard mixed results with them.

I thought the M-203 was a ford engine?

I have never touched a M-16 but I have a lot of experience with the AR-15 (Bushy XM-15). I can take it down with my eyes closed. But I always take it slow checking for damage. I don't think I have ever done it fast.

Oh well I think its time to take it out of the closet again for a closer inspection.

I think that if I have someone follow me to the range I can ride my bike and bring all my toys out for a spring shoot. Have to wait for the weekend still.
