Getting a feel for a Poconos ride.

Any riding going on this Sunday? I am still on a high from doing the Dragon last week with the VFRD boys (Rt 129 and 28) and I need my fix :stickhorse:

 

............................oh dude....you need to savor that like a fine track day or a 20 year old sorority girl. You're back in Jersey now brudda'. Cagers, flat landers and idiots galore this weekend. I'll do the smart thing and stay in the woods till it's safe to come back out and play. Next weekend.........I'm feeling a full day to the Catskills coming on..........maybe next Sunday.

 

I say we ride up Saturday night and stay at the hotel near the exit so we can get an early start! :first:

I'd like to ride this weekend as well, but with the nice weather their predicting combined with Memorial Day, its going to be nuts everywhere. I'd consider a shorter, early morning ride. Hell, maybe we could get together and grab a breakfast or something like that. Guess I'm just itchin to get back on the bike after 2 weeks of no go.

Weekend of June 5th 6th looks OK for me.

 

..........I'll do an early one...Sunday only and we gotta' get out before 7:00.Finish by 10:00. Who wants some.:flex:

I'm gonna' toss this out so we can get a head count. Meet at the info center off rt 80 Pa. side at 7:00-7:30. I'd like to run some of the route we did during our frozen snow ride from a couple weeks ago and then cross back over the river into the park and back down to keep it on the light side. Traffic and cagers will besiege on us around 9:00-10:00 so it would be less frustrating to wrap it up early. That said it makes no sense to wonder to far from home for you guys.We could however toss in Hawks Nest if we can get an early enough start 'cause if we get there to late we'll be watching Hawks along with every other turd driving through there at 10 mph and that will just suck ass.

 

I think we should just meet at 7:00 and kick stands up at 7:15

Hmmm a 7am run? I'll have to check back with this. Damn neighbor went away for the weekend, my kids are gone, and the wife is out. And the problem is I have to take care of the neighbors dog! What a piss poor excuse that is, but sadly its true.

Put me down as 90% there. I gotta make this happen.
