For some strange reason these
Lidatek LT400 lasertrack / LT450 Laser Diffuser and remote garage door opener / Jammer / Blinder
are quite popular in the UK even though they are relatively expensive.

I think their popularity is linked to an unintended side effect of these units which can temporarily block laser detection devices from getting an accurate fix. Sensibly the designer of these remote garage door opening systems, realised the potential for interference and the kit includes a discrete warning light to alert the driver whenever they might be causing interference and after 5 seconds it shuts itself off automatically.

Strangely it seems that whenever riders see the interference warning light illuminated many riders also check their speed is within the permitted range....

Just a thought if you are in the market for a more versatile garage door opener...
