Ive always had a very sporadic gauge reading , one minute half a tank next bend flashing empty. While going through as many connectors as i could find with the contact cleaner I gave the sender connector a good clean. I got some of those diamond tipped tweesers and used them aswell. Now ive a solid reading , just wished id done this years ago.
