First World Problems

I hear from at least 5 recruiters a week but none of them have any jobs I like

 

Usually cable companies provide a dvr, I reccomend looking into it. I'm so used to dvr that when I watch a live show I click fast forward in commercials and think my remotes broken :lol:

 

I get a digital cable converter. I think the DVR is extra. My kids have been on me to get one but I am not the slightest bit interested. There is only the two of us at home and we have three TVs each with their own cable box.

 

I had to buy another safe because I've got too many guns.

 

Frack I must be getting old... You mean to tell me that there is a gun and/or safe in this picture???

 

Too funny I actually LOLed.

I have so many porn vidoes on my computer that I've had to organize them with folders, e.g. Milfs, Teens, BBW, etc...

 

I thought that maybe you sprung a leak in the one you have been using all these years.

In one of my previous jobs I wasn't willing to work like a slave for peanuts so I got fired and landed another job that paid a lot more with less work.

 

I know you don't mean to but those "Sent by xxx" tag lines are annoying.

 

Friends wife was bitching up a storm aboot the blue tooth connectivity in her Mercedes yesterday and all I could think of was this thread.

 

My crown vic doesn't have a Mp3 or bluetooth player so I had to burn 10 CDs of music.

 

I hate it when my under dash unit gobbles up my 8 tracks. They are getting hard to replace eh!

 

I feel the pain for those who built an extensive collection of 8tracks only to replace them with vinyls only to replace them with tapes then with CDs and end up with Mp3s on their iPod.

That's got to be horrifying seeing a whole shelf of music reducing to something you can put in your pocket and maybe in the future something you can insert in your brain.

 

The gov't has already implanted microscopic transmitting devices in my head. In the gold fillings of my teeth actually Listening devises so they can spy on those whom I associate with. Sometimes they will pick up WKRP weather reports with Lester Newman.

 

I see retirement is affecting you in a bad way. Won't be long til you're having fights at the bingo match. :lol:


Yet another first world problem: About 3/4 of a mile from my house is a bicycle trail but I can't ride my bicycle to there since there are no sidewalks and the traffic is terrible. So I gotta drive my car and lug my bicycle 3/4 of a mile just so I can get some bicycle riding.

 

When buying several of those special microbrewery beers at the local liquor store they aren't refrigerated so I have to put them in the fridge and wait til tomorrow to enjoy them.

 

Going to lunch with 2 numb nuts at my last job, both trying to one up each other with features of their integrated iphone/gps/satellite BMW and Mercedes systems. I mentioned the cassette player still worked in my Toyota.
