Quick update. currently sitting on the beach on the Florida Keys. Stealth camping in Big Pine Key. Got lots of photos but have to post produce and upload. I've found McDonalds and other places have poor upload speeds. Currently have 2960 miles under our belts. Have been wild and stealth camping since Austin Texas. I should be able to upload photos on Wednesday and keep everyone updated.

    Thanks for following along!!

Great trip and photos. I'm impressed with your in the field teardown and diagnosis of the FPR. Many owners would struggle with that whilst in their garage.

That is great news. Would you like for me to suggest some places you can ride?

Really is a small world. Was gonna eat lunch at the subway in Page, AZ but they were making 100 sub's for a bus load of tourists. Went across the lot to BK. Saw two bikes out front I thought looked familiar. Checked this thread to be sure, was in fact our father and son duo. Nice talking to you gents. Enjoy the rest of your ride.

Absolutely. The fact two different cross country rides from this site crossed paths at some random burger joint at the same time is pretty nuts.

I'd play Power Ball immediately. Chances of winning are greater than that! lol

    Crazy?

I think you'd be crazy NOT to go on this ride with your Son.
I don't think that there was any luck or chance. Was meant to be! A little spooky! But uber cool, running into them.
But could you sabotage his bike? Doesn't look good when a Honda breaks down and the Harley is the reliable one!
Where'd you suggest they go, Badbilly?

Sorry for the lack of updates, completed the trip 46 days and 8,500 miles. Got back to find some work problems with my company and legal issues I've been dealing with.

I'll start where I left off. The VFR was giving me issues with the fuel pressure regulator and we limped into San Marcos TX. I had to order the part from Kent's Powersports in Austin and it wouldn't be in until Tuesday. I decided to ride it to the MotoGP on Sunday, it runs rough but it's still manageable. Here's the MotoGP. 20150410-IMGP1273.jpg 20150410-IMGP1309.jpg 20150410-IMGP1313.jpg
