Faint fuelsmell from coolant

    I don't think you have a problem. The only way fuel can get in to the coolant is a bad head gasket. You would also be losing coolant and or running hotter than normal and that's not happening so you say. Change you coolant, thermostat and rad cap just for grins. It's not getting in the oil either from what you say. So no problem there. If you had a bad head gasket you'd know it. It's not a job for a novice though.

    I wouldn't worry, just keep an eye on the temp and coolant amount.

    Thank you for returning the sanity. That was the point of my post, you don't have a problem, but if you insist upon having one, put the least amount of effort into it.

    Is it possible that you could have just gotten a whiff of the fuel while you were smelling the coolant? Put some of your Cosby in a separate container, walk away from your bike and smell it again. Coolant is often green. It should be a clear green, not opaque.
