So... What gear were you wearing and how did it hold up? Would you use same make/model/brand of xxx or will you upgrade?? That will be good/ helpful info for us all. Thanks Ride Red!
-FirsGear padded/perforated leather gloves: worked great! No damage to them or my hands at all. -Shoei full face helmet (2005?): awesome~ -Joe Rocket leather race jacket w/armor: worked fantastic. Some minor abrasions on the jacket but all the seams held up fine. The ribs were literally the only damage to me. -Gander Mountain standard flannel lined jeans: Flannel is the new kevlar!! (ROFL) A slight tear to the left knee but not all the way through. Got a TINY friction abrasion on my right knee from the flannel but both knees intact. I don't routinely wear protective pants when I'm only tooling around town. Flame away!
I told you to go with the Fleece lined jeans, not the flannel lined ones. Now you'll have to deactivate your account here. Hang in there, bud!
Sorry for your mis-hap. Don't laugh, sneeze or fart with "authority." Btw, note to self, dont leave side stand deployed while trailoring bike in the future. You can fix all that plastic and metal chit! Bodies are more delicate. Mend fast stay cool - Merry X-M..as and Happy New Year!
