    Great write up on your modifications and I also have always loved the white wheels on the Honda bikes. I wonder how much it cost to have yours powder coated? I am also curious to learn more about those lowering pegs as on long trips it would be nice to have the extra legroom.

    The rims on the 8th Gen cost me $200 to get done. 10+ years ago, the same shop did the rims on my '86 VF500 as well as my 6th Gen and back then they were only charging $100 for both wheels. Just an FYI that on the 8th Gen, you will need to pull the wheel bearings on the front rim.
