So it's ran for 45 min and no smoke. I look over as I'm cleaning up the shop and it's smoking a little. Now at first I'm thinking maybe it's some oil in pipe from when the last motor went. But it's been idling for 2hr total today. Do u think that should have cleared out by now?

Seems like when it's revs it makes more smoke.

At what point should I be worried.

Also the old motor was packed full of radiator stop leak. The fluid came out very thick. I flushed system and all kinds of nastiness came out of radiator.

I filled new motor with engine ice along with a new thermostat. It heats up until the fan kicks then comes down after 15 seconds or so. And cycles perfectly. It never did that before.

Idk wether to be mad about this motor or not. I just wish the smoke would stop. I do think it needs valve adjustment

Could be loads of things. You might want to stop running it until you know more. If it were me I would fit the silencers so you can better hear the engine valve gear (edit. I see you did). Did you take the valve covers off and check the valves are all there?

If the motor was bone dry (no oil) the seals might have dried up and might reseal after some running.

Is smoke or water vapour? Does it smell like burring oil or coolant? If is water vapour and the engine and exhaust is hot then you could have a blown cylinder head gasket or a cracked cylinder head/barrel. More likely a gasket than a crack.

That rear head does not sound good at all. Almost sounds metallic.

It's definitely oil. My shop was filled w smoke for a hour.

I bore scoped the cylinders upon pickup and pulled valve covers. Very clean looking.

Would a valve adjustment clean up the sound on the rear cylinders.

Luckily I have new valve seals I ordered and did not use.

    I already

You should check the valve clearances for sure. You should also try to determine the condition of the cam followers. These can dish and cause a tapping sound.
If it smokes all the time then that indicates rings, if it smokes when you generate high vacuum like on the overrun then that would suggest valve seals.

So I have hung my head all month discouraged about the bike. I notice this hanging off to the side

I start the bike to see if there is vacuum there is... No idea where it goes tho?????

As I'm leaned down by the motor after a min of running I feel the side of rear jug and it's hot. For some reason I feel the front it's cold. Go to other side and both hot. Grab onto the front right header and ice cold.... Dead cylinder.

The bike stoped smoking blue and has been smoking strange and gasy. Think I may have found my issue. Maybe the oil in exhaust burnt off and now just smoking lightly due to non firing cylinder.

    Can't wait till tomorrow
