Before I post a number - Some reasoning here...
Bike is lovely, reserve may be too high but...what's the automotive economy like in Oakland?
Things moving or is everyone sitting on their money? Especially when it comes to specialized or non-essential modes of transport...

What I don't get is why don't they just put a starting bid instead of "reserve not met"? Don't most auctions work that way? I never waste my time bidding on reserve not met items, they are usually more than I'm willing to spend on an item any way, or at least the savings aren't significant enough to warrant getting in a bidding contest. That being said, $5985.00...

    Yeah, kinda frustrating.

I don't know that I really need two older VFR's but, wait, yes I do.

I keep imagining how great it would be if my $ 3000 bid didn't have "Reserve not met" beneath it. I raheely like the bike but only up to my already-entered automatic bid (which has room to go yet).

the doode is gona have 1000 hits on that auction and no-bites! wut duz that tell yah? Sellers can also disclose the amount of the reserve in the auction (kinda defeats the whole purpose of a reserve) but it least it comunicates what the seller is willing to accept bare bones. Some times when I watch them car auctions on the tele you here the auctioneer trying to motivate the seller to take the reserve off.

This bike wont sell and I think you will see it featured again...any-whooooOOOO

Twitch-ster, wut you gona offer dah doode? Just curious. Don't worry either cause I wont snipe it away from you. I got one Gen 3 bike that is like a 2 year old kid requiring lots of attention, kinda like wiping buggers and changing diapers. Its love what can I say.

I think it's gonna die a natural death based on expected reserve...you'll know what I'm willing to pay as soon as I know! (nothing crazy as I also have to factor $ 500 - $ 600 to get her here).

Was the amount supposed to be for what the highest bid ends up at or the reserve price? My number was for the reserve, but I just thought about that, how would we know? Oh well, since Twitchy is out who's gonna still watch the auction?
