1/ The Nazis would have dragged the entire Bundy family out of their home at three in the morning and killed them all from babes in arms to grandparents.
2/ They would have done it before he started waving guns around and protesting that his freedoms were being infringed because in a true police state someone would have informed on him to avoid having their family murdered in bulk if they were found to have omitted informing. The fact that he was free to start running around with guns raving about freedom is a pretty good indication that his freedom was in a fairly healthy state to start with.

The USA may not be perfect but it has a good head start on many other countries.

 

Had to laugh when I saw that Ted Cruz was claiming that the number of rapes in Australia jumped after the Howard governments gun buy back as the ladies were unable to defend themselves.

Firstly, there was no spike in numbers so his whole argument is bollocks. Secondly, women in Australia have rarely if ever carried guns for personal protection. So it made no difference. Thirdly, automatic and semi automatic long arms aren't terrible convenient to carry in your purse.
