AWESOME PICS!!!!!! Thanks a bunch, Tink. I'm convinced and will be buying a set of those mirrors, myself.

I think I'll also make a spacer to move them further outboard. Two pieces of 3/8" thick ABS sheet bonded together should be thick enough to push the mirrors out just the right amount.

a piece of rubber in there would probably help too.

also notice that you have to find a way to run the wire through the fairing. Figured I'll drill a small hole and get a rubber grommet from the hardware store. Then hide it just below the mount.

Yeah, definitely make a thin rubber gasket for the bottom. Looks to me like the slots the mounting screws go through are ideal to pass the wire through. It would be simple to just make the hole go all the way through a spacer and seal the passage up with silicone (leaving some slack for adjustment). Then you don't need a grommet at the fairing end and the hole can be tiny. I might not completely "de-dumbo" mine and find some very low profile signal lights for the stock space. I want to have lots of lights and be seen, dontcha know.

Anyone know of any stem-mount ones (vs fairing mount)? The 2nd gens, while the mirrors mount to the fairings, really just pass through the fairing and mount with a single bolt the fairing stay. I'm looking for something to widen the mirrors (and maybe be less visually heavy), but have LED turns on them. Then also go the low-profile route in the stock space. (The more lights the better)

Ya, I know those aren't Kissan. I didn't like the sequetial lighting. Looks like it's all a moot point as Tink has a better mousetrap.

Hey Tink...still like these mirrors? Are they still good for rearward viz @ speed? Thinking about a set for my new-2-me '07 800. I've been looking at many styles, and would really prefer a set that are more rounded like the OEM ones instead of ones that are so angular in the shape and glass, but haven't really seen any. Cyccon has a few that are pretty good, but after talking to them back and forth (waaaay too many times to get a straight answer, actually) after the Euro exchange rate they are....$170 USD a set!

Any concern with the bolts puling out of those little slots? Looks to me that the bolt head is REAL CLOSE to the width of the slot.

Anyway, love to hear about these. Looks like the ebay seller is LoCal SoCal so I could pick them up in person maybe too.
