    Is there an amperage test to do on the charging system or battery? Or any other test besides the ones in the manual?

    Skip to the end....... Roadster Cycle. Save yourself all that time... if stator resistance and short to ground check is good, get a mofset R/R, his harness and be done with it.

    Swapped mine out with his best at 25K plus relocated.
    Now have 66+k with stock stator.

    the book doesn't discuss burned plugs but the rest of the testing steps are all that's needed for finding a charging flaw.
