I know its awkward to get to. But you really shouldn't have to take the swingarm and rear subframe off should you? I don't wanna have to do that when I get mine

I didn't take them off. Once the chain guard was off I could slacken off the upper left stud to allow me to get to the lower using a very long socket extension

Thanks REEK. I'll have another crack at the sensors then. Found GT85, plus gas and ACF50 are awesome.

    No problem Gweglez.

I am now in the process of putting the hold girl back together.
After reading some of the reports and reviews of the Delkevics I was expecting the worst. I am actually very happy with how they have gone on and how they fit. It takes some common sense as there are no instructions and working out which side of the mounting boss to hang the collector box (right hand side seems correct) has been the biggest headache.
Now I might be eating these words soon .... I've not started her up yet.

Anyway, at this moment I'm pretty happy with the Delkevics.

I don't expect Delkevics to be world class headers nor to give an additional 15 horses in power. Just a nice cheap stainless set of headers that work. I personally don't pay much attention to all of the "garbage flow characteristics" talk about them. I've had several Delkevic headers over the years, usually to replace old rusted out steel ones. no problems what so ever. they're usually direct copies of the OEM pipes anyway. And anyway, despite how efficient the VFR cats are, how much turbulence could these headers produce to make flow that much worse without cats? I didn' see major flaws when looking inside the headers on my set.

Okay, finally all fitted up. Gave her a run but the fi light was on constantly. I didn't fit the O2 sensors so I assumed this was the problem.
I terminated the sensors at the connecters behind the fairing, initially I used only two 330 ohm 1/4watt resistors, one per connector in the upper terminals however, this didn't work. After referring to the circuit diagrams I noticed that the sensors have in built terminating resistors built into them between the white wires. So with this new knowledge I put two resistors into each connector and off goes the light. No O2 eliminating connectors to be purchased, 4 330ohm 1/4 watt resistors do the job at a fraction of the price.

Going back to the exhaust, the sealant supplied with the system smokes alot once the bike is up to temp, I panicked a little as it smelled like burning plastic.
It needs to burn off the solvent but when you don't know this it can be very worrying. I also found that the delkevics header off the rear manifolds foul on the rubber mudflap that protects the suspension coil so keep this in mind when you start to smell melting plastic.
