I am freezing my butt off in NYC this winter and I wanna go somewhere warm. I was thinking about going to Daytona for the BikeWeek in Feb. I checked some sites and there is a lot going on but it is all over the place. I checked for event schedules but did not find much. Has anyone here gone to Daytona for the BikeWeek and could you give me some insight as it really looks like a merchandising festival for people who wanna pimp off motorcyclists and make money. I am looking to go have some wild fun of a debauchary nature, do some riding and maybe some camping. I guess it may be a little confusing to me because I usually go to a rally where things are a little more centeralized. Also, how hard do the cops come down on bikers during the bikeweek. Any other suggestions for MC events somewhere warmer than NYC would be appreciated.
If you still have those leathers, ditch the jeans and the debauchery will come to you. Except for the races, "Daytona" is both high and low camp.
