    I just read this. Yes the VFR can handle heated gear. I run a Gerbing's jacket liner and gloves during the winter via a direct connection to the battery. Never had issues with the battery draining or anything.

    Thanks I appreciate it! Had the eye opening experience last weekend of riding a Blackbird and a 2000 ZX-12. Blackbird was way too long for me, but the ZX-12 was an interesting ride. Would need a set of risers and windscreen, but otherwise not bad. Just wish it came with ABS. Would definitely eliminate my fear of not having enough cc's tho! lol.
