Rode my VFR 800, 2006 from alberta to stugis and back.
    Very comfortable.
It is the most comfortable sport touring bike.

The link that I posted in my previous post - a great writeup on a cross country trip taken on 6th generation VFR's.

Hey man I have an 07' 25th Anniv. with the hardbags and I plan on getting the trunk when I return from Afghanistan. I haven't taken any long trips but I have done many all day trips. I had absolutely no problem riding all day long. I think you would be happy with it. For a 20 year old who wants to really ride and not just ride up and down the strip this is the bike of choice. It is a great sport touring bike. I ride every day rain or shine back and forth to work and it has always been comfortable.
