Just got back from Colorado. No climbing this year just hiking with my girlfriend. I was a little anxious as to how she would do but she did really well and loved it.

We were in the Gore range, Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National.

I wish I had my VFR and the DR too but I flew to Colorado. A friend that lives in Colorado Springs has a street bike and a dual sport. He has been doing some awesome off road trips through Ouray, Telluride and the Collegiate range. Some great 4x4 and single track paths through some very big and scary mountains.

Excellent photos! Makes me want to go back again.
Rode top of the Rockies Pass, visited Garden Of The Gods, Pike's peak and spent three days at my friend's house in Colorado Springs a few years ago.

Got a friend in the Springs too. Garden of the Gods is not far from him, beautiful place. Really most of Colorado is beautiful and so much to do.

Sounds to me like a get-together in CO is in order?
Never had a bad road to ride in CO. Rode along the Arkansas and Dolores River to Telluride, Durango, Silverton, Rico, Cortez and Four Corners.

Nice shots Dave. CO and UT are two of my favorites states to ride in.
Last time I was in CO a bunch of riders with different bikes and several states came down to or yearly get-together. About 40 in total.

Here's a few non-bike shots from around the state over the last few years. Can you tell I love living in Colorado?

You guys in CO get all the fun.
Saw a bunch of elk wrecking havoc in Manitou Springs the same day I rode Independence Pass. I was enjoying the show so much and trying to stay safe that I didn't even think of taking a picture.
Those aspen trees threw me off. I'm not used to seeing them and the blurry white wall on my peripheral vision was a little hard to get used to.
