    Well, actually I can.
    Troubleshooting 101 for me is to try the easy, cheap ideas first. Sometimes that is all that is required. That is part of figuring out what's wrong.

    I concur. Start easy and cheap, and if that needs attention anyway and is a possible cuprit... eliminate that possibility. Then keep digging into hard and expensive as needed.

    Sounds like your hydraulics are operating normally. I would now dig into the clutch and replace, regardless what the fibers measure at. I personally am not going thru that work to put an old clutch back in.
