Oh brother... Anybody else thinking this guy is senile? BB, I AM using Metallican's stock rearset... Where exactly did you get lost here?

Who said I was dealing with my insurer at all? Another incorrect assumption.

Im quite sure insurance companies can find out whatever they want. I have said nothing here or anywhere that I have any problem with my insurance company knowing. Im a very open and honest person, deal with people openly.and honestly and have found that it comes back to me a hundred fold.

I am so comforted knowing you are out there BB, keeping an eye on us making sure you tell us everything we should and shouldn't do... Lord knows we couldn't get through life without you and your sage advice. Im happy that you are oit there being paranoid for us so that we dont have to be. Next time I need a part for my bike I will come to you since you seem to have the hookups with people that dont live close and dont have the right parts.

Anyway... Thank you for so quickly proving my points and providing more laughs for me tonight... Always a party!!

I really hate to interrupt all of this for a silly question, and it really isn't any of my business anyway, but I am curious: With regard to your injuries, was the prognosis just some major contusions, or was there additional damage?

Again, it doesn't really matter at this point, as all seems to be well. Glad you're healing up with no major difficulties!

"Ummmm... not yet. Just got to the point of having adjuster from other guy's insurance company come look at it yesterday. It's totally ride-able, but I have to be careful about stopping on steep inclines since I have no rear brake lever... it's pretty flat here in the desert so that's not much of a problem. That should be taken care of soon. With the linked brakes, I don't really need a rear brake for regular riding... so I'm good!!

I'm not even really sure I'm going to repair much except the rear brake lever/rearset (thank you Metallican!!) and the rear fairing. I had been looking at replacing the rear fairing anyway and now I'm glad I didn't. I had backed into a parking space downhill last year. I saw a parking bumper so just let the brake go. I missed the parking bumper, went into a short ditch and hit a concrete wall, and the clips that keep the rear fairing attached to the taillight assembly broke. So, I'll get a new one out of this accident. I can live with the scratches on everything else... I think. I'll see. So far, total estimate is for $1900.00, so if I just do the minimum, I'll make out pretty well monetarily... Lord knows I can use the extra cash in these times!! "

So it's you who keeps spamming my inbox with those dad-gummed Viagara ads. Mystery solved. Thanks!

No comments on my 91? The 1200 is bone stock so far,so no pix of that one. Stockers are boring anyway. I just sold a 53 Velocette. That one was stock, but the worth of the vintage bikes is greatly determined by what is there and how far a crackerjack restorer is willing to go to replicate originality. Much like your stories that change with each telling.

Not much in the old parts bin but if you are interested, I have a set of Heli-bars for a 90-93. One is bent from a tipover. I just got a new set instead of even trying to jack up or fudge on my insurance. This way my premiums are low and stay that way. I also have a set of grab handles that I took off the bike when I first got the thing. This afforded more room under the seat for a spare R/R and a roadside tire puncture kit. One never knows what evils will befall one on his or her way to WalMart. I had an idea once to use all my old parts as a mobile. After much deliberation I just couldn't establish an artful relationship with a stock aircleaner and brake shoes. I do wish I would have had a rearset/brake lever for you or even the complete set. For just a piece of the action and not even one of those $600.00+ farkely gold jobs we could have made out like bandits. Then again, some of us are on the con and some are not.

Back to the insurance thing for just a sec. How much did you stiff them for? We do have to start someplace since in many of us are now confused as to your veracity. I sure hope the "other guy's" insurance adjuster doesn't take what you say verbatim. Scooting away with almost a couple of grand is larceny, so you might want to delete all that about getting a "rearset/brake lever" from Metalican and pocketing the rest.

BTW ...YOUR sermons on how folks should behave and what they need to do appear as quotes in other peoples posts. Please try to keep them short.

We thank the Mother Superior for praying this sinner out of the dark place called "ignore purgatory". Thankee Jesus that didn't last long. It was almost like it wasn't real at all and yea, a parable to mollify the masses. We now pass the plate.. and hope y'all buy our radio praying cloths and autographed 3D pix of JC on his chopper.

For a small donation I send you a 3D pic of Christ on a chopper that makes vroom noises along with two foil hats and a holster for your spare gas tank on that 1200. Act now and get a Walmart gift certificate good for one can of Dyna Beads.

    But wait .... There's more!!!

You also get with no added charge my top ten sermons on why you should wear a helmet 24 hrs a day and how to speak to women online without pissing them off.

All approved by Bubba Zanetti himself.

You're only out on a trial basis because Sochiro came to me in a dream and convinced me to let you out. Don't fuck it up.

Lgn001, yes... No broken bones and no permanent damage anywhere. Contusions and hematomas that have healed quite nicely and my.leg should.be better than new after all this therapy. Thanks for the well wishes!!

BB, ALMOST a couple grand? You underestimate me!! How does 3300 sound? Hey... Other guy's insurance company!! Im not going to fix the the bike Im just gonna pocket the money... Oh wait... I already told you that and you are fully aware of that fact. Boy are you dumb because according to smartest man in the world, BB, that's larceny. So, now that you know that call me... I will tell you where I work so you can send the cops!!

As for your bike or parts... Why the hell would I waste any time at all looking at anything that you claim belongs to you? They are most likely pics you hijacked from someone else because your parents dont let you have a motorcycle.

Cool! Where do you work? Not to worry. I won't snitch you out. I did get a peek at your bathroom in one of your pix. It needed attention. The mold on the caulking can be alleviated by getting a bag of sponges from a dollar store and sloshing some straight household bleach on the affected area. Wear nitrile gloves especially if you are allergic to latex.

Oh My! Pix of bent bars, grab handles, an OEM air cleaner and a handful of old brake shoes? LOL.. Sorry, not my style . Too late for pix of my last set of tires too. Again my apologies. Even with a digicam the whole issue seems a red herring and one of those "methinks she doth protest too much" sort of deals.

At this rate, I guess we WON'T be catching the Tiger. Damn, BB you ruined it. What's wrong? No more incorrect assumptions to make or bluffs on things you know nothing about? You're no fun!! Thanks for the tips on mold and shit, but I actually DO things and don't really sit at home long enough to worry about that stuff, let alone actually do anything about it. You should see the cobwebs!!! Some days I have to walk down the hall with a machete to clear the cobwebs... and those monster spiders!! Wow!!! But hey, I know YOU have nothing going on, so anytime you're in Vegas, you are certainly welcome to come scrub my bathroom for me.... I know how it bothers you so... you really are such a useful guy BB.... pointing out the things we shouldn't do so that we get the least benefit out of everything in life and being paranoid about it all for us while doing so... and now offering to clean my bathroom... you really ARE such a sweetheart!!!

Okay, well, this is now getting boring again... I guess I'll go back on ignore mode... damn, it WAS so much fun for a short while.... thanks for all the laughs man, my stomach hurts from laughing so hard!! I'll have to come back and read all this stuff once in a while so I can reminisce about how one person can be so misinformed and clueless about life in general and try to spread that amongst others... you are just what the American government loves.... paranoid people that they can control with more paranoia. Thanks for contributing to our terrorist problem!!

Well, catch ya some time on the other side of ignore mode.... maybe if ya spice it up a little bit again I'll come out and talk to ya and again show everyone how ridiculous you really are!! Oh, and have a great Labor Day weekend!! As you know, I'll be in CA for the weekend, my roommate can let you in.... you can have a field day cleaning my house for me!!! PM me for my address!!! Thanks in advance for ALL of your much needed help in all things insurance and cleaning!!

I am liking this "Bubbles" thing a lot. The first think that came to me was maybe sending la chica a codpiece and then she could be " Bubba" . Not our "Bubba" but a whole new creation with simulated hardware.
