    I'm 5'8.5 pretty much exactly.

Legs aren't short, I'm nearly completely flat, both feet.

Okay, I will break this down barney style.

ONCE you have the bike even remotely upright, and you plant your foot on that centerstand foot, Like you mean it.... All your weight.... the bike will ABSOLUTELY balance itself on the stand's two feet. you don't HAVE to be on the ground at all. The manuever actually requires this, because you rock your weight into the forks, and when you let go of the brakes after compression the suspension pushes the bike backwards and up onto the stand. once you've correctly done it a few times, it's the most natural feeling thing in the world. when I had the center on my GSX650F I almost never used the sidestand, it was quicker, easier, sturdier, and I think looked cooler, up on the center. I almost contemplated taking the sidestand off. lol

30mm is 1.18 inch, that's more than a inch. I am going to try maybe helibars that's another problem related to tipping-rubber hands can't steer. Where I am the roads suk bad so lowering is usually not so goo idea. I leave BB alone-he's really just another ??? Don't know what he or she is.

I would like to do that but the vfr is just too big, a 600 could do that easy.

Now that is cool. Going to try that a couple times with spotters at first. Not that I've never dropped my bike, but I need someone to help me get it back on its wheels. And before someones says anything, I did watch the video of the girl righting a VFR a while back. If I were to bend down, I would stay bent. Kinda an old man thing you see.

Voided I used to work at a bike dealer and the mechanics used to do that all the time with the side stand. I keep thinking it'd break!

that's nearly as easy as the centerstand trick man. just grab the bike by the away handlebar, twist it towards you you on the kickstand side, get your right hand, and grab it right above the exhaust, by the aluminum heat shield, and pull it back onto the stand. it'll balance in the air, and you can spin it wherever. I might vid that for you.

This is best understood if one understands that posters and centerstands are not all the same..:)

My back was messed up to begin with but it's much better now.

You were right about technique. I have no problem getting it on the center stand now.
