    Current state after work noticed a few things...

    Carb boots were loose! oops forgot to tighten those down last time!

    draining the cooling system to install new thermostat and thermal switch. decided to get into the front fairing to educate myself. My concern is for the acceleration or lack-there-of from my ass-dyno. Just feels like it makes a lot of noise and i run through gears without much speed... Maybe it was that trip around the block on Nathan's CBR1000rr that has me skewed...?

    Well if your insulator boots where loose, you had air leaks right? This bike should run right up to red line and get you arrested, I am not talking from experience either. My latest bike had a slide issue and was just like you described. Good Luck, nice red bucket :pound:
