When I'm in a detailing mood, I'll do the spray the tip of a rag with the stuff and carefully go over the sidewalls. More so on the Valkyrie since its more of a bling bike, but sometimes on the viffer too.

I really would avoid putting anything slick on your tires, there's just too much risk having the stuff leak where you don't want it to go. I had that tire dressing on my car tires and left a quarter block darkie when i punched the gas a little too much (the fish tail was pretty cool though:thumb:)

After one ride you won't be able to tell the difference anyway so why waste the effort?

I've heard that Slick 50 on your tires helps them go faster and reduces your quarter mile time?

Actually I think armor all would be the best choice. Armor all is water based which would cause less long term issues than a silicone based dressing used by most car dealerships.

I used to shine up my cruiser tires. It was more appropriate on a cruiser.

Wow such broad ArmorAll opinions from those who use it saying it is good just not applied on the tread to those who dont saying it will rot your tires off.
And then I read about ArmorAll on the seat? Slip sliding away!
I will stick to cleaning my tires with a wet rag doused in a mild soap and water mix.

    LOL I do..

actually I once in a while when wanting that extra bling for posing, use a product by eagle called Tire Shine. I use it on the car so why not here, you just need to pay attention to the application is all. Does make her look prudy.
