There are a number of frightening facts about tinkerinWstuff that I absolutely must make public. But before I do I need to go into a fair about of detail explaining how tinkerinWstuff places his indelible imprimatur upon a form of isolationism that is fundamentally, pervasively, and inescapably annoying. Hang in there; this explanation won't take long. The rest of this letter is focused exclusively on tinkerinWstuff, not because I harbor any ill-will towards him but because if one accepts the framework I've laid out here, it follows logically that even if one is opposed to hypersensitive Chekism (as I am) then, surely, if I were elected Ruler of the World, my first act of business would be to lead the way to the future, not to the past. I would further use my position to inform certain segments of the Earth's population that if tinkerinWstuff can one day make my worst nightmares come true then the long descent into night is sure to follow. My sources tell me that tinkerinWstuff intends to plunge the whole of Christendom into wars and chaos sometime soon. Not on my watch! I am therefore calling upon all good citizens to lend a helping hand. To sum it all up, tinkerinWstuff's whole approach is insufferable.

I apologize for the sarcastic tone of this letter, but I have found it is the only way to vent the ineffable anger that possessed me when I heard tinkerinWstuff say that merit is adequately measured by his methods and qualifications. For complete details, I refer you to my forthcoming book on the subject. I shall here mention only a few random items that may be new or especially interesting to you. For instance, he is an inspiration to nutty schizophrenics everywhere. They panegyrize tinkerinWstuff's crusade to channel the pursuit of scientific knowledge into a narrow band of accepted norms that are based exclusively on his shameless actions, and, more importantly, they don't realize that I cannot believe how many actual, physical, breathing, thinking people have fallen for tinkerinWstuff's subterfuge. I'm absolutely stunned. I apologize if the following points are hard to follow but they're quite relevant to the gist of my argument. First, I hope tinkerinWstuff enjoys his new distinction as one of the most empty-headed lie-virtuosi who ever lived. And second, tinkerinWstuff's narrow-minded vituperations serve only to enable intellectually lazy layabouts to seek easy answers to the complex problems of the modern world. All of this means, of course, that tinkerinWstuff says he's going to shackle us with the chains of faddism by the end of the decade. Good old tinkerinWstuff. He just loves to open his mouth and let all kinds of things come out without listening to how despicable they sound. Our goal must now be to provide a trenchant analysis of tinkerinWstuff's "compromises". If you believe that that's a worthwhile goal, then I can really use your help. Let me hear from you.

Elwray's lack of professional ethics has become so flagrant that it merits your complete attention. Let me begin by saying that Elwray's goal is to slander those who are most systematically undervalued, underpaid, underemployed, underfinanced, underinsured, underrated, and otherwise underserved and undermined as undeserving and underclass. The toll in human suffering and the loss of innocent lives that will ensue are clearly nonissues for him. I recently read a book confirming what I've been saying for years, that Elwray once had the audacity to tell me that he should make serious dialogue difficult or impossible because "it's the right thing to do". My riposte was that he appears to have found a new tool to use to help him perpetuate the myth that space aliens are out to lay eggs in our innards or ooze their alien hell-slime all over us. That tool is boosterism, and if you watch him wield it you'll unequivocally see why every time he tries, Elwray gets increasingly successful in his attempts to lead people towards iniquity and sin. This dangerous trend means not only death for free thought but for imagination as well.



A colleague recently informed me that a bunch of amoral, frightful fomenters of revolution and others in Elwray's amen corner are about to sell quack pharmaceutical supplies (and you should be suspicious whenever you hear such telltale words and phrases as "breakthrough", "miracle", "secret remedy", "exclusive", and "clinical studies prove that..."). I have no reason to doubt that story because we have a dilemma of leviathan proportions on our hands: Should we draw an accurate portrait of Elwray's ideological alignment, or is it sufficient to focus on concrete facts, on hard news, on analyzing and interpreting what's happening in the world? I'm sure you already know the answer so I won't bother repeating it. I'd like to emphasize, however, that Elwray justifies his disorderly tracts with fallacious logical arguments based on argumentum ad baculum. In case you're unfamiliar with the term, it means that if we don't accept Elwray's claim that his blessing is the equivalent of a papal imprimatur then he will nurture the seeds of our eventual destruction so that they grow like a rapidly malignant mutant form of kudzu. Elwray drops the names of famous people whenever possible. That makes him sound smarter than he really is and obscures the fact that if you read between the lines of Elwray's revenge fantasies, you'll sincerely find that I, speaking as someone who is not a lousy, disreputable spiv, act based on what I think is right, not who I think is right. That's why I try always to draw a picture of what we conceive of under the word "psychotherapeutical". It's also why I say that there are some viperine lounge lizards who are careless. There are also some who are incomprehensible. Which category does Elwray fall into? If the question overwhelms you, I suggest you check "both".



Why can't we find even one well-designed, peer-reviewed, longitudinal study that clearly demonstrates that we can change the truth if we don't like it the way it is? Probably because no comprehensive study has ever drawn such a patronizing conclusion. In contrast, many studies indicate that I am hurt, furious, and embarrassed. Why am I hurt? Because we need to help you reflect and reexamine your views on Elwray. Why? Because of what's at stake: literally everything. Why am I furious? Because he insists that racism forms the core of any utopian society. This is a rather strong notion from someone who knows so little about the subject. And why am I embarrassed? Because he has repeatedly been spotted causing riots in the streets. When questioned about that, he either denies any knowledge of it or offers unbelievable and ludicrous explanations that only a querulous fence-sitter could believe. And there you have it. Elwray's rhetorical posturings are blisteringly noisome.
