    You know this is a vfr forum, not a Greyhound Bus forum. I don't think it is possible for a VFR to beat a car with a huge seat and bigger gas tank on a very long trip. Possible to switch drivers. It takes too much energy to ride as apposed to sit. Long trips -over 200 miles would be iron butt type riding, my butt is made of Swiss cheese and hot chocolate:scubalong::kc10::bowl:.

    exactly what I was thinking...

    I know when I flew from Cali to Kansas City and then rode back, it was a a pretty tough trip. Hopefully the rocky mts don't hit him like they did me and Tink coming through.

    He's near Moab now according to SPOT. He doesn't have enough time to fart around, though. It's at least 10 hours from there to his house I think. He's also not making great time. If he was on a bike he'd be faster...
