Congrads on the VFR, great looking bike. I too came from the cruiser world, rode mainly cruisers for the last 25 yrs. I used to struggle staying at 80 on the hwy, now I struggle to keep my VFR under 80. The biggest fun factor is in the twisties, at last I am in the lead pack now when riding with my budds.
I may be interested in the lowering kit (all three components) if my order with Sigma Cycle doesn't come through.

BereaVFR: If your name means Berea KY, I know that area fairly well. My Dad and the rest of my fathers family is from the Jackson County area. Dad grew up in Sandgap, just up the road from you past Big Hill. Very nice area for riding. The only downside is that some of the roads are sort of old and chewed up. Gotta have a few inches of travel on the suspension, that's for sure.

Greycat, contact me at james.viars@comcast.net for the kit. I should be taking it off this weekend. I am 5'10 with boots, so the kit fits me pretty good. But the bike just needs to be taller. Thats one of the reasons I wanted to part ways with the Harley.

stoshmonster: That's a pretty slick little mount. Nice and unobtrusive. I am going to check on my nut tomorrow and see if that top comes off. If it does, I think my father could build me something similar using the parts I have with his lathe/mill. Its nice to have a machinist father. Lots of cool one-off parts.

It does indeed mean Berea, KY. I did my student teaching at Sandgap Elementary School. I know Jackson County fairly well.
