Buy the '97 or keep lookin' for a '98-'99?

    Nice good score, Mmm I just use a tail bag that goes on the passenger pylon. not sure about the so called rack. Not much in the way to bolt on to back there. Other than that just get the suspension sag set, ask the dealer for a suspension tuner in your area that will help, but 5' 6" ain't nothing to worry about, practice, practice, practice it will come pretty fast just take it slow and steady.

    Fer Chrissakes! It's a motorcycle, not a wife! You're not getting married to it. Buy it if it seems like a good deal to you. You can dump it anytime you want - probably to some starry-eyed guy here on this forum that wants to marry a 4th Gen and set up housekeeping with it in the suburbs.
