Hot cams will make any engine lope at low rpms. Did I forget two strokes? Hell no! Harleys lope with even flat cams and yes, they are big and massive like Edsels and like Edsels, shit falls off at idle..

I will ride one with the exception of a Fat Boy.. Image ya know..

    Bubba Z,

The Holden series of cars made by Ford for the Aussies are more akin to a Mustang.

    BZ,

Yes I do. Before George closed out his general shop and pretty much went to building engines for the racecars, he did work on my bikes. Good guy, straight shooter and never lies.

He has a real dynamometer, not one of those portables they roll out at bike events that graph out hp/torque up to the point of the rev limiter kicking in.. I was in the shop one day and he had a turboed Honda 600 on the dyno cranking out 160 hp.. I asked him to give me a rundown on his dyno.. Whoops.. I was gone in about five sentences.. George is kind of a genius..

What I was thinking was that maybe he had some goodies for your new ride that you could get without spending the baby's shoe money..

    Cheers

Badbilly, thank you so much for the option. I was just saying the other day that if I had the time and MONEY. I'd love to do a full tear down of the Ninja 900 and make it a real rocket. But, the other motorcycle I have takes up most of said time and money. Since you and Bear wanted to see it here is a pic:

Sorry the quality isn't better as I'm at work and this is the best quality I could do. I have been gathering spares and parts so I can ride TZ as much as possible, God willing.

The Ninja will keep getting worked on, but any bigger ticket items will have to wait. Over the winter I may e-mail George just to see what may be laying around.

    Thanks and God Bless,

    BZ

    A fine machine.
If you can just hold onto it in that condition you will get a big pile of money for it later on.

I just wish i had my old Honda Benley 125 road racer. I could get some dough.

    Apologies for the highjack.

Holden is owned by GM, Pontiacs GTO and G8 were made by Holden though the V8 running gear is Chevy. Shame they shut down Pontiac when they were also looking to bring out the UTE as a small Pick Up Truck with its light weight and LS3 engine they haul.

Thanks John, the Holden is GM (what the Nightrider hijacks) and the Pursuit Special is a Ford XB Falcon. Got them mixed up being the Mad Max nerd that I am.

Maybe Donald, but the TZ125's aren't rare and many are still around. I was just talking to a friend about this as he has an Aprilia RSR125, whcih is way more rare, and over time his GP bike will probably be worth some coin for the right time.

I know a guy who knows a guy that has a Boss Hog Chevvy that you could stuff into that 125 of yours. Then see if they make fun of you. ;)
