That's actually pretty normal when they only use USPS. There was a plastic shifter bushing I had wanted for my old 4Runner that a company in the States made and it was about $6.
Over $50 by time it was delivered. They would only ship USPS, this was a small part that they could put in an envelope with a stamp. They didn't get the sale either. Don't forget, that is all in US dollars, tack on another 30% for Canadian and don't forget that you might have to pay duty and customs. You guys don't realize how good you have it sometimes.
