Braided brake line kit

As far as I can see the spring part numbers are not the same. But I will compare the springs, when I get to that part of the bike. If the springs are the same size but the VFR are beefier, then I will start out using the VFR’s.
Then I will see how it rides, before trying other springs

 

Thanks for this info. I’m about the same weight as you, so I’d probably benefit from about the same rates. I will check the measurements that you gave, when I get the bike assembled again

 

Not the stock springs, the RT springs! Also, the VFR .74 stock springs are not recommended unless you weigh 60 lbs.

Your sag numbers will never come in using stocks springs, you will have to use WAY too much preload to get rider sag close.
