YES it does. I guess its just part of my upbringing.... momma always said " if you break it, fix it. "
Man, that bike is off the chain! Looks great! You need to put the red pinstripe on the front wheel too to match the back wheel. The Honda wing is just awesome. So what was the "trick" to getting the decals to mold around the contours? I have done some vinyl work in the past on signs and vans - which are easy. I can't imagine how you got it on all those vent holes. Heat gun? and lots of water spray?
No water ! Keeps them from sticking and staying put once you do get them in place. The trick i came up with was to; 1. Test fit the decal to desired place. 2. Peel back a corner of the most critical piece of the decal and cut off that little bit of backing material. 3. Put decal back into position, once you have it exactly in place everywhere, then push down that exposed corner. - doing it this way allows you to move the decal to the desired position because the backing is still in place, then lock it in place with the exposed corner. 4. Then carefully remove the backing material from the rest of the decal. Start laying it onto body, smoothing with your thumb as you go. When it came to the tricky spots, about 5 seconds with the hair dryer to slightly warm and soften the decal was all thats needed to allow it to form into position. Too much heat and it will stretch the decal, not enough, and it wont lay down. You just have to force it to do what you want it to do, and go where you want it to go. No pussy-footin' around. It wasn't so bad after i adopted this attitude.
