Well, SLOVFR and i made some progress tonite. With his help and the tips from "The Tape Works" we were able to get a good start on the right side. (the top decal is black electrical tape, had to do that to get the proper spacing and measurments for the bottom decals. Ended up ruining the upper decal. Will reorder it tomorrow :pout: )

You forgot to mention the nice Gold Pinstripping I performed on your front fender and matching upper body line ......

Well,......... just 4 months later and its done. Got the finaly missing piece (left mid panel) and did the rest of the decals tonite.

I also figured out the trick to laying these down without pulling your hair out, and getting them to curve to all the contours.

Looks great! Decals aren't easy to apply, especially to multi curved surfaces like what you had to deal with. I think you did a great job! She's gonna get a lot of looks!

I was curious what the black tail would look like with the decal. Although it looks great all red again.

IMHO skip the ad on the front fender, unless you're getting a kickback.

I was also curious if you'd wheel stripe both or go without.

What was the final total on the decal, including the SNAFU?

Mike,.... your aren't kidding tough.... the final trick was to just sack up, stop worrying about the outcome and make them do what i wanted. That attitude combined with a hair dryer for a little heat, and it all went pretty well.

Vlad Im undecided on the fender decal. The bike was still looking a little plain after the Wing decal, (didn't have the lower HONDA on it yet) so i put that on. Im not big on advertising for others either.

Total including my snafu was about $210

....not a bad bike for the $2780 i have into her

I still have the "black-ass" (its for sale)
But, I think im gonna stripe the wheels to tie in the red/black combo. And it just doesn't look as hott with the rear foot pegs, and bag mounts.

Tori is bringing new meaning to pimp my ride:
finding cheap tail, then selling it when a fresh tail piece shows
Tape kit bling, but only where he wants it

Too bad he spelt Honda wrong.

    (made you look!)

I definitely like that wing. I've been contemplating one for my 00 for years. If I do get one, one thing is certain, I WILL NOT attempt to put it on. I don't care how much someone would charge for this kind of work, I know I would screw it up.

    KC-10 FE out...
