I've found that Harley riders are a little more stiff as well. Most of them do wave out here in Cali though

 

If you're on motorized 2-wheels I'll wave ... if you've seen the "Why We Ride" video, you'll understand ... we are all riding for the same reasons even though our choice of bike might be different.

That said .... FUCK SCOOTERS. They don't pay the same insurance rates, they don't have the same licensing requirements, they drive like idiots because most of them really aren't riding it because it's 2-wheels (they usually riding it because they're tree huggers thinking they're saving the planet), and they have no interest in the history and culture ...

I wave at all bikes as long as its safe.............. but little kids who wave to me, I make sure to wave to them.

 

Really getting pissed at these scooters taking up all the motorcycle parking at work.....I come out and my bike is surrounded by these little fookers..no wave for them EVER.
Noticed theres a scooter, don't know the make but it has the same shape of the headlights of my 6 gen, caught myself waving

I waved at a scooter today.

But with it being a cold 46 degrees and cloudy today, he was the only other rider I saw today for two hours. I felt he was worthy today since braving the elements.

Looks like my work parking, BUT, these young little hotties are mostly the riders....give um alittle education in wearing some protection.

Nah, the real scooter riders are folks residing in the mountain towns of appalachia. The dude who re-roofed his house with blue tarps, isn't riding that chinese scooter outfitted with bungie straps and a Givi milk crate to make an environmental statement.

 

I just read a couple of pages of posts on an official HD forum. Unlike us, they seem confused and do not have it all down to a science.

 

Probably helps explain why they ended up with a Harley
