Bike Stalling while riding, ABS light flashing

    removing the connector appears to be the best option, no guarantee you won't still ger charging issues but it takes the burnt connector, then fried stator and rec/reg and possibly other components out of the mix

    I tried dielectric grease on the 3P connector between the stator and RR, I'm sure it helps a bit but the connector was still getting much too hot to touch. With the connector removed, the wires are much, much cooler, and I'm getting 0.5 volts more at the battery.

    So I repaired that connector and all is well. Pulled the pins out of the 3P yellow connector from the stator and coated them all with dielectric grease. The wires there are really tight and I don't want to mess with them by adding a few inches of wire, with two splices per wire now. I ordered a Painless Wiring 3P connector that I'll use to replace the factory one.
