RW - I like that graphic kit also and wonder how it will look on my Yellow 2k VFR. Why are the Tapeworks Graphic kits so expensive? I am looking around too and will let you know if I find something.

Take a picture of it to a place that does graphics/signs or car kits and get a price on something similar

The one here i deal with all the time can do it easily, they do cars, motorhomes etc. all the time,.find one locally, that does it and give them a call or email a picture for an estimate,it might be worth a try.The one i deal with is local only but if you go to their website they have a couple of pictures in their Fleet and Auto sections, nothing too detailed though. You may want to call a car dealer in your area to find out who they deal with for stripes etc.

An update on my wing graphics adventure: I have a friend who does some vinyl istallations commercially who helped me apply the graphics. Bottom line is you get what you pay for and the vinyl (from http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hond...ryZ35593QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) is of very low quality and deformed if you tried to stretch it at all. Even with very low heat the straight lines deformed. It more closely resembles packing tape. So, I'm working with a local guy to produce a set of wings using higher quality vinyl and will see how that goes. I have the feeling that by the time its over I could have ordered the tapeworks vinyl for what I will have paid....

Had a set made locally for $50. Now to get them on before Laguna in July....

Sorry for the picture - it was the best I could get with my phone. I think it adds a lot to the bike - no longer does my friend call it Moby Dick.

I had them made locally for $50 and had him put them on for another $80. See how they grow on me and next year they will be paint.

That looks great, WVFR! I like the glossy/clearcoat look that those have.

WVFR - put a red seat on it. I think that would be amazing. I had my grey seat on my 1990 VFR750 changed to red. With your white and red graphic it would look great.

I have a vinyl cutter and will be adding red to my Silver bike and I am going to change my seat to red as well. You do get what you pay for. I had some left over vinyl and put orange lettering on my car back window and in less that 3 months it faded right off. (came with my cutter) So.. yes quality does matter. 5/7 years is usually all u can expect from really good vinyl (by the time it fades)
