Ahhh yes, my beloved 1995 Ducati SS/SP with Two Brothers exhaust! Such a pure sound to my ears. Of course, it was my first "real" bike, so I'm a bit sentimental...

My 2007 VTX 1300 C with Cobra Speeder Long pipes with the baffles removed. Some of the lope of a v-twin but muscle-car-ish sounding when really getting into it.

    1. Yamaha Virago 750 with custom straight pipes. Nice deep rumble.
    2. Yamaha Vstar 1100 with Jardine slip-ons. LOUD, like a helicopter almost.
    3. Ducati Monster 750 with Arrow Carbon Fiber high pipes. Similar to the Virago but faster revving.
    4. VFR 750 FG Stock (maybe it'll move up the ranks once I find nice pipes for it).

And let's not forget the Kawasaki Mach III's and IV's. Besides the great sound, they made a lot of smoke and smells, too.

My current 84 VF500 with a Hindle "stealth" full exhaust. Bought it with it on and it makes a nice anti-social noise and no longer sounds like a polite Honda. Best sounding bike I ever heard was a friends Duc 900 GTS with conti "silencers" He started inside a car garage his dad owns and my God the noise the thing made.

Is that you doing a wheelie on a public street???!!! That's illegal, bud! Looks like the proper protective gear for those days, too. Or should I say I wore just about the same thing?

I'm envious! I never rode a CBX, and had about 1 minute on a Kawi (scary bike at the time). Both of yours looked very clean.

Yup. Sounds amazing no matter which exhaust it has.

However, I still prefer myVFR800 sound. Even the intake note sounds great to me.
