I think DuPont, for whatever reason, changed the formulation of the 'chain lube'. Now it's some runny worthless s--t. The can looks identical EXCEPT it doesn't say wax on it anymore. The search begins for a suitable replacement, because I just used the last of what I had of the good stuff. Any suggestions welcome.

Is that the Dupont Chain Saver....in the yellow can? I hope not cause it is great stuff. I have two cans of it on my bench and if they don't make the stuff any more, be damned if I am offering it to anyone else.....cept those at R3 of course.

Nobody has mentioned to Always put lube on a warm chain, as in when you have gone for a ride, already. Also, lube the inner run of the chain. It is harder to do, but centrifical force will cause the lube to travel to the outside of the chain. If you just put it on the outer run, it would not lube much of anything, except your wheel! BEL-RAY is the best! It hardly flings off, and seems to last a good long time.

Yea, the Dupont Multi-Purpose lube has changed their formula.

DuPont Teflon Chain Saver - DuPont Teflon Chain Lube - webBikeWorld

Dupont now recommends Motorcyclists use their "chain saver" as their new Multi-Purpose lube isn't suitable for chains.

....and I am all for The Dupont Chain Lube and Tirox cleaner

Now. If we could just get that Chain Saver here in Canada. Not available here, at least not on the west coast. I have to go down to Burlington Wa to get mine.
