Beavis RC36-2 refresh (1995)

Finally all electrical issues solved , all cables installed , new tape , every screw replaced with new stainless steel , rear mud guard etc etc. Basically only missing the fairings. Tomorrow I will pick the fairings from the repair/paint shop.

Unfortunately the starter motor is giving up , but already bought a new repair kit to replace it when I change the engine oil.

 

Work so nice, you had to show it twice. Good job.

20 days after I have a dream bike. Just waiting for a friend to do "CPR"to the front again , so I can go out for the " shakedown".

 

My RC36-II was a fulfillment of a long term desire too.

 

Beautiful job! How do you see through that windscreen when you're tucked? It looks really dark.

 

You're right , I can see almost nothing , but I'm still waiting for a stock with a light smoke .

Yeah, that's a good looking screen. And bag. The base attachment can be moved on the bag if you find you want it more forward, I did.

Many thx. I'm very pleased how this came out. It was a blind purchase , because I always was a Cruiser guy. Lots of Shadows after , this is my first sport/touring . I didn't know what I was missing , even with such an iconic bike like the VFR .

 

After some scaring issue - Rear axle loose nut I decided to go deeper and check and clean everything,caliper included.
