Cadbury64 geniusly put that photo together. I agree...if it saves one, it's worth sharing a zillion times.

Awwers, you got me humbled and speechless.

I'm happy to pay a little more for a Honda oil filter and forget about it!! Guess what kind of air filter is going in it when needed? Buy an expensive motorcycle and put cheap filters in it....go figure......

Well....On my way to work last week. Taking the off ramp to exit I 405 and my rear feel like on ice
I thought perhaps I push a bit too hard on the throttle :) the rear were fishtail all over. I slow down and get the bike straight up and check my chonni for stain. All was good but then when I get to work I smell oil burning. Park the bike and take a look and Holy Batman the whole exhaust and center stand cover with oil
So I limp home and open up the fairing and seeing oil squirting out by the nut and the filter case.
I was so pissed but glad I am alive to ride another day....! Yes Ootv it was on sale on Amazon and I did pick up a few.....Urrrrrr

    K&N lives matter.
It takes a whole village to raise a K&N.
    Just say no to K&N.
Don't spoil the ship for a ha'porth of tar.

Have you ever just googled or searched for "K&N oil filter failure"? There are many stories that pop up eerily similar to the stories here. Not only does this occur to bikes but vehicles as well. I really do not see how this company cannot be aware of these failures., or maybe they are but choose to do nothing about it.

Hopefully all that manufacture those BOS have to use them to be employed--- a lot of calling out sick or dead I bet.
