Yeah, definitely good times. We had no close encounters with any mafioso or other shady characters, but then again we had Long with his do-rag on looking like a yakuza...

yeah, punta bunda or something like that. I found it quite interesting how all that developed around that little cave spewing air and water into the air. it was enjoyable. camping right on a cliffside with our sleeping bags rights out there in a patch of wildflowers. refreshing.

I've only been to Mexico once, probably on that same cruise ship to Ensenada, and took a cab out to the blow hole and the market. The ship leaves from Long Beach, stops at Catalina Island and Ensenada before returning to LB. Probably not a cruise I'd take again, but on a bike it sounds pretty good.

thanks, Wayne. I'm always up for a trip. Matter of fact, I'll most likely make it over to see General Sherman this summer. I think I'm gonna throw on the bags and a tent and do the whole camping thing. The road up to Sequoia looks like it'd fun on a bike.

you're not kidding. I browsed through the link you sent and there are like 13 pages!

    thanks. see you soon right?

yeah, I enjoyed it. The locals seemed to appreciate our business as news reports have hurt their business quite a bit. it's definitely not like cruising in the U.S. but if you keep your head about you, it's doable. I could see how you could easily run into trouble, though.

well, no wonder we couldn't find the owner. If we had known it was you, we'd have gotten the key.

No, it's not quite THAT nice...

    seems to work now...

yeah, I thought I'd give the photbucket dump a chance and see how it compares to youtube. I kind of like photobucket better.

no doubt. my wife and I have already begun negotiations on how many kegs I'm allowed to get. I'm trying for four and she's saying 2. What do you think, should I cave and just get 3? I mean she does let me have 20 smelly bikers running around for a few days pissing in the back yard.

Always a fun time going to visit those guys. I really have to go north soon and ride with the Sacramento posse, though.

The cruise is probably safer, but a bit more confining. They walked around with nametags on so they didn't get lost. It was kind of sad in a way. Like a field trip on the short bus.

Yeah, I think I gained a few pounds in water weight from the added salt in my diet supplemented by beer. I had it in my mind to try every new type of beer I saw. and tequila, and cognac, and...

I went down there with a group of about 12 people who live in the SD area. They all know the "safe" places to leave your bike and that guy at the lobster restaurant was the best. He actually had 2 guys standing out front who were assigned to watch our bikes and stuff. Food was pretty good too. Is that the same place that has the patio on top of the restaurant? Believe it or not I went to Mexico for lobster twice in one weekend. :)

Hey reg if that ship, theone with the sails, picturte was taken in Ensenada, more than likely it was the black pearl. from Pirates of the Carribean. it looks like its been painted up a different color though... well if its not I'm not sure which one it is then....

My guess would be "Master and Commander" with Russel Crowe. That ship was on loan to a couple different maritime museums I know. LA, and San Diego.
