Resurrecting an old thread...is anybody out there?

I'm heading to AR this weekend.
South to OK and heading east by way of Talimena.

I plan to ride through Ouachita and up to Ozark to take a few loops around the area including 123 and 7.

I did Mount Magazine in April so I'm not heading there this time.

Any other suggestions before I head north into MO then back west into the Land of Oz?

It's been years but there are some roads near Emminence, MO that will make you car sick in a cage. It's in the middle of nowhere. There are actually many roads in So. Mo. I left in '99 so forgot them all. Just look around when you get time. No. Ark. also has too many to remember. 123 is a lot of fun until you go off the side of it..... Also, be careful of the Ark. State Po Po. They seem to always be in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for the info, DA...especially about the Po Po.
    I'll try to stay on 123. :)
I may not have time to go to Eminence, but it depends on how the route evolves.

Hey OH!_Anne.Marie! A group of friends and I were in that area a couple of years ago. Some great roads to be had. We used the Bulter map for the Ozarks to give us all the great roads including going north into lower Missouri (skip it). We stayed at The Hub just south of Harrison. Do some research before you book, it's unusual. Enjoy and post some photos if you can.

Using Delorme Street Atlas, Garmin Basecamp, and the Butler maps I linked up a couple days of superior riding down in the area. I'm not sure where the files are but if I can find them I'll email them or send a link. Most were in the neighborhood of 220-240 miles.
