Key off, in gear on side stand. Almost never use the center stand. Mainly worried someone in a parking lot might somehow bump the bike from behind, and knock it off the center stand.

Usually kick down the stand to shut 'er off, then remove the key and I always leave it in gear.
I so rarely use the kill switch that when "somehow" it gets flipped open I get a panic attack when my bike won't fire up right away!

Key, neutral usually but if I think there is any chance of rolling in gear.

I usually just do the sidestand in neutral when riding, and the centerstand in neutral when at home. I should get in the habit of leaving her in gear on the sidestand on hills at least.
As far as the kill switch or key, I do 50/50, but yes, I also have a small heart attack each time i try and start her up and nothing happens...cause the kill switch is on...

I use the kill switch and then turn the key off. I usually put it on the center stand because I thnk it is more solid. I will leave it in gear if it is on a hill and I use the kick stand because the center stand leans to one side too much.

Well I always kill the engine with the kill switch. When I park it everywhere other than my garage I pop it up on the center stand and leave it in neutral. However, in my Garage I have a Baxley Sport Chock that I ride the front wheel into and I leave it in 1st when I do that to keep someone from accidently yanking it out of the chock. I put that keeper lock on the Baxley but I'm not overly confident that would keep the bike in the chock if someone sat on it and rocked it backwards.

    I can't believe you're discussing this.

What kind of underwear do you like? Do you prefer Kotex or Tampax? Do these leathers make my ass look big?????

I have always used the key. All the Honda owners manual tell you to use the key also.

I happen to know someone that uses the switch,.... don't ask how many times we've had dead battery/push start him.

Killswitch, then key, leave it in first.

Unless I am jumping it up on the center stand, then neutral.
