Just another opinion but there are too many variables in a bad incident (I don't believe anything is an accident but that's another conversation) to quantify anything having to do with protection in a helmet. To me, fit is very high on the "must have" list. Main thing is just wear a full face helmet.

Incidents are freaky unpredictable. I used to have a friend that was killed by an airbag going off at 35mph. So, are airbags bad? I've survived two car wrecks that were truly spectacularly bad without a scratch or bruise so, yes, I believe in a higher power. I should be dead so many times, I just try to keep things sane and simple. I don't even know you and feel good about saying your head is worth much more than money. Just wear a full face helmet.

I believe it's not your time to go.

When not restrained in a vehicle airbags can be fatal. Know of a paramedic killed when an airbag went off in their face as they were rescuing some one.

Good fit is vital. I'm amazed at how many people have ill fitting helmets.

I have found reviews on Webbikeworld.com to be a good resource to see how your helmet ranks in the scheme of things compared to other helmets, i.e. (Quietness, finish, venting, helmet/ head shape etc.) also helpful when shopping for a perspective purchase, but still need to try a lid on to be sure of fit before purchasing Imo.
Also, Lid picker is another good resource.

Although this guy is really a reviewer and may not be a fully qualified expert on helmet safety, I think he has some pretty reasonable points.

I saw this video. Unfortunately FortNine was formerly Canada's Motorcycle and is actually the site I pricematched to when I bought the lid. I'm afraid that they just plug the product they happen to carry. His video on "underpriced gear" is full of overpriced items.

Does Snell still test by dropping twice on the same exact spot? I never liked that criteria.

To really be quantifiable they'd need to have someone in the helmet. Being a nice guy, I won't suggest anyone here as candidates.
