Anyone in West/Central/North Jersey feel like meeting up for a twisty road ride later in August? If you're interested and you have some good twisties near you which have good sight lines and not too many surprises on them (Driveways, cross-streets), Reply and maybe a few of us can link up and share our favorite roads. I'm thinking maybe Saturday the 9th of August could work.

If anyone is interested in aforementioned ride on the 9th, I'm thinking meeting up near the good roads. Anyone have any objections to meeting up at around 10 or 11am? Can anybody suggest a place to meet near good roads? I can think of a few places. The Homestead General Store at 1850 Bridgeton Hill Road, Upper Black Eddy, PA is a good place surrounded by great roads. There are several places in Lambertville that fit the bill. The area around Clinton, NJ has some pretty good roads but is heavily patrolled. Panera Bread in Flemington has a good sized parking lot and is not too far from some twisties.

Suggestions? Comments? Opposing Points of View?

 

I'll give a suggestion - even though I ain't attending: I'd suggest crossing the border into PA. Aside from the fact that if you head up towards great roads around Shawnee, Wolf Creek, Bushkill, etc., only the State Troopers in PA are allowed to use radar guns. Just sayin... :glee:

 

Pittstown road is a nice ride from Flemington and back to Flemington.... I know another one through Frenchtown to PA

 

Feel like meeting at the Stockton Farmer's Market or Flemington Panera? 10 or 11 AM Saturday morning?
