Anyone else talking RACING?! <--- of the motorcycle type

Rae subbed in for Stoner or Pedrosa one time in MotoGP, can't recall which rider or race but did OK. Maybe that was him sticking his big toe in the water? There was a recent rumor that Stoner wanted to take Pedrosa's place but HRC insisted on using Aoyama but HRC did say that they would consider bringing Stoner back for 2016 if Pedrosa was still going to be out.

 

Didn't Aoyama have a bad crash this last race?

 

I believe he did but I think he came out uninjured, couldn't find the after crash report on him. Did you see Hanika take out Guevara after the race? Hanika deliberately bumped Guevara and Guevara crashed and ended up breaking his collar bone. They fined Hanika 5 points, but Guevara will probably be out for a while!

 

No shit!? I will have to look that up. Let emotions and adrenalin get the better of him.

 

Yep, they touched briefly during the race, it didn't look deliberate or very hard, but the after race lap, Hanika bumped him. It did look like there was a few bumps Since Hanika only had a few points, next race he has to start and the end of the grid!

I see a Assen race but it was in the middle of May

I'm liking the new rules proposals concerning the current concessions.

 

I am looking for a book on racing. I take notes on everything I read but I must have misplaced these notes. I am frustrated!!!!!!!!!!

The book I seek is most likely one of the preeminent books on sport riding with coverage of the track. The section I am looking for is on steering. The book shows a graphic of a track, showing multiple curves. It demonstrates how the fastest line through a series of curves is a different line from what one would take in each individual curve.

Does this sound familiar to you?

Ps, recently saw Pridmore's book Smooth Riding on Amazon used for 5 dollars. The Twist of the Wrist books are a bit more.

 

PJ Jacobsen heading up Row 2 for tomorrow's WSS race. It's been a good year for PJ, even though he has been mostly ignored by the American press. Support this guy, he's the only fast American left across the pond. Don't even bring up Nicky.

 

I like that kid. He's from upstate NY I think. . I little glimmer of hope for Americana racing?
