I disagree, he was charging forward, scorching lap times. He had 10 laps to catch him. Would have been tough but doable.

Well according to Nick Harris the math did not add up and if he had stayed up no way could Rossi have made up 5+ seconds. I did not break out the calculator, maybe you did but that is what the announcers said.

Does anyone know if Pedrosa is finally getting fired from Honda? Ever since he took Nicky Hayden out in 2006, I've not liked him. He should've been punted then, as Nicky was the one bringing home the title. Pedrosa, ahhhh?

I don't get the grudge that some people have against Dani Pedrosa, yes he crashed into Nicky, but Nicky still won the championship! I'm sure someone is complaining that how Tony Elias blew the championship for Rossi that year! or that Ionne blew Dani's second place championship place this year. It's all part of racing, good luck or bad luck, this $#!t happens and unless it was a malicious attack, you have to learn to forgive and forget.

If you don't believe that luck has anything to do with winning championships, look at the 2006 stats for NH and VR

Starts, first place, second place, third place, total, pole, bike, points, final standing
    Nicky Hayden 2006 MotoGP 17, 2, 3, 5, 10, 1, Honda, 252, 1

    Valentino Rossi 2006 MotoGP 17, 5, 4, 1, 10, 5, Yamaha, 247, 2

It's not like I'm a Nicky hater or Pedrosa fan, but look at where Nicky and Pedrosa are now...If Pedrosa wasn't a good rider, he wouldn't be consistently up at the front and look at where Nicky is at now, middle of the pack.

I think a lot of people have a problem with Danni because he has had arguably the best machine and not won. If he gets away at the front he is one fast little fucker but when it comes to banging fairings and big balls he fades quickly.

2006 was an anomaly but I'm glad Haden won. Luck does play a huge role. Ask Ben Spies and Cal Crutchlow. lol

All current factory riders, Dani, Marc, Valentino, Jorge, Andrea, and Andrea are locked. Repsol and Yamaha riders locked for 2015/2016. Ducati, Iannone has a 2 year deal and I think Dovi as well. Musical chairs for the satellite riders only.

Some interesting rides next year. Nicky back on a Honda, Miller moving up and on a Honda (and still making Rabat sweat), Cal on a Honda (I'm really interested what he can do on it), Baz moving up (wonder how he will do, he's been fun in WSBK), The Esparago brothers, Crazy Joe on the Duc. Should be fun.

Nicky is already on a Honda this year, it's just not competitive... Miller is moving up to MotoGP and Rabat is staying in Moto2, so I'm not sure what you mean?

Another race where all finishers scored points! Although the usual suspects were at the front, it was fun to watch the action up until the end.

How much different is Hayden's or Aoyama's bikes from Bradl's? Bradl has been doing pretty good this year, although a few DNFs didn't help his standings, he is definitely doing better than Hayden or Aoyama when he keeps his bike upright.

Bradl and Bautista ride satelite Hondas (same as how Tech3 have satelite Yamahas)
Bradl's bike is the same as the Repsol boys, other than a few minor differences. Bautista has the same bike, but with Nissin and Showa versus Brembo and Ohlins.

The "customer" Honda's are not even remotely the same as the Satelite bikes, very limited on power. Next year's customer Honda will have the engine from this year's Factory bikes, minus the seamless transmission, so they should be a lot more competitive.

Does Bradl's bike have the seamless transmission?
