The only benefit will be to change the technical regulations to coincide with the classes involved in the world championship. If the classes are not changed to technically reflect Moto3, Moto2, WSBK/BSB, coinciding with the return of factory support from all of the major manufacturers, there will be no significant improvement....and that will ultimately require a change in the economics. The economics will be the determining factor. One just has to look at the current position of Josh Herrin in Moto2 to get an idea of the uphill challenge that awaits. Thinking that the arrival of Wayne Rainey is going to have an immediate impact on the US series, is grossly unfair to Wayne Rainey. Only time will tell.

I felt it was necessary (more like compelled) to issue a public apology to PJ Jacobsen and Cam Baubier. You guys are the exception and I wish you both nothing but the best. Hopefully, this will be a positive push for both of you. RLS (Was that good enough?)

    WSBK Jerez Spoiler**************************************
    ******************************************************
    **********************************************************

WSBK race 1 was pretty good, race 2 kind of boring. Sykes is going to coast to a 2nd championship it seems. BUT WSS was insane racing.
Van Der Mark was out of his mind! Did not have to even come close to the front but he wanted to get it done in Jerez. There must have been at least 50 lead changes all race long. Some of the best racing I have seen this year. Dicing it up with Cluzel back and forth was nuts. The Frenchman on the MV lost it on the last lap getting to aggressive. The MV is looking very nimble. Congrats to the new champion. On a Honda.

PJ Jacobsen on the podium again, good to see an American doing well.

VDM is a pleasure to watch. It's been a long summer break! I still watch MotoGP with wide eyes, but lately I'm really waiting for Moto3. The racing is always incredible. WSS is starting to be my second favorite. I was at Indy this year and the Moto3 was nonstop insanity!!!

Moto 3 and 2 have been very good racing. WSS has been very good and WSBK there have been some very good races. Actually this year there have been several good MotoGp races although its usually for only 1/4 of the race.

I watched the WSS race again and I think Cluzel is insane! MV really wants to be relevant again but their rider has to be smarter than that. He almost took out the top 3 in one shot. Not a smart pass attempt.

Indeed a great race for #46. MM crashing trying to keep up. That does not happen every day.

That was such a bizarre crash...it looked so slow and the bike didn't even leave the tarmac....almost like he was going very slow which of course he wasn't.

He just pushed the front. He wanted to beat Valentino too much. Sorry Marc. Don't count #46 out, EVER!

So glad it was Val and not Whore-Gay, something about him I don't like! Hell of a good rider but just can't stand him. I would have loved to see MM and VR duke it out a but more, but this was still a great boost for VR, no key riders were injured, JL had pole position, home circuit, couldn't ask for a better day to win IMO!

1 point difference between Vol and Danni.

Duc thats a very common low side, they look slow and comparatively they are. I done several just like that, trail braking to hard. They happen so fast, looked like he tried to do the knee/ elbow save. He said he was having trouble all weekend with front end traction. I was happy for Rossi.

He'll be back in Aragon at full speed. I think Marc will probably put the hammer down. It's a home track for him (Spain) and it's one of his favorite circuits. I wouldn't bet against him. I'm secretly hoping Vale or You're-Gay can beat him though as it would make the final races of the season very interesting.
