Like so many, he finally gets off the sauce and starts to get his act together; the next thing you know, life is kicking him in the nads...

Almost makes you wonder if its worth all the pain and suffering to try to straighten out, or if you should just burn the wick at both ends; die young and leave a good looking corpse?

Of course, he was very close to being drummed completely out of motorcycle racing, so I suppose not; but it sure sucks the luck he's had since.

 

Writing about some dude and employing as many cliches as possible in the least amount of space is like....

 

It kills me to see Rea lose the podium at the finish like that!!! Oh well, chalk it up to a new bike I quess, still some work to do on it. Oh if only Honda would come with that RVF 1000.........I still drool at the thought of a 1000cc v4 superbike. I have a nice home for one, if you are listening Honda......just saying.

I'm just hoping for a good, safe race. If Casey dominates the year, then fine; but it would be better if there are three different makes on the podium at every race. One thing I would love to see is Hayden beating Rossi at every event. Nothin' against the Doctor; but I'm Amurrikin, doncha know.

" Riders: Motorbike Legends " is the closest I've seen but it's more about Australian Racers than a "How To" most people I know have " Twist of the Wrist " although I do prize a signed copy from '89 of my local town hero Wayne Garder "A Dream Come True" although that's more a biography.

That's too bad. I would like to see some of the "experts" here putting money down along with their prognostications that drone on endlessly as if they had some valid inside informaton instead of armchair paparazzi/autograph itis..

and Nicky was 3rd quick in FP1 (a full second quicker than Rossi on the same bike). So far, so good.

 

" prognostications " surprisingly had to look that up, " The action of foretelling or prophesying future events " not sure anyone here is at one with the big boys in racing would be nice if there was to get the real scoop on things but in the meantime race speculation or prognostication is on the whole harmless fun inbetween riding and watching MotoGP with friends. Did hear from someone inside Kawasaki that quietly mentioned they are about to release a Z800 which doesn't appear in google searches as yet if it helps.
